About INF

INF is the liquid staking token (LST) for the multi-LST liquidity pool (LP), "Sanctum Infinity". Users can add any whitelisted LST into the Infinity Pool and become liquidity providers. Depositing into the LP provides you with INF tokens, which gain trading fees and staking rewards.

Most liquidity pools have two assets such as USDC-SOL, and some LPs have up to four. Infinity is a game-changer for supporting all whitelisted LSTs and having no limit to the number it can support in the future, hence the name. It is the only LP to offer native support for thousands of different LSTs. Fair price calculation is done by converting each LST into a stake account and viewing how much SOL each account has. This foregoes the requirement of a constant-product or stable-swap invariant, allowing Infinity to support swaps between any LSTs. The Infinity Pool maintains set target allocations by dynamically adjusting swap fees. Infinity maximizes your trading returns while providing a minimum for LSTs.

As INF is also an LST, it can be directly used by other DeFi protocols and all other LSTs can share the liquidity of INF-USDC and INF-SOL or use any routing LST pair pathway to INF liquidity - highly accessible.

The need for infinite liquid staking token support like Infinity is becoming dire due to single-validator LSTs. Solana's network comes to a short halt at the beginning of every epoch due to calculating staking rewards for an enormous list of stake accounts. Validator LSTs will improve this by reducing stake accounts and making Solana faster. They will also have widespread application through all of DeFi by being fully transferable and composable SPL tokens.

All of the new single-validator LSTs will need liquidity. As the number of LSTs grows, existing pools with minimal assets may face capital risk. Infinity plans to pave the road for the infinite-LST future that is needed. Any LST paired to any LST, all in one place, all in one future.
